On one side the caged bird dreams of flight and on the other side the dream is realized.
The wings are made from plywood and walnut. They are stained and held together with various nails. The straps are made using leather belting to create a comfortable wearing experience. The embellishments have been collected over time from vintage shops, craft fairs and yards sales.
The image on the right side is from a book that I drew on, scanned and printed out on fabric. The left side has a hand twisted wire tree that has a multitude of birds perched in it. This is my first set of hollow center wings and I'm really please with they turned out.
These wings run about 2 feet wide.

Sounds brilliant!! Haha. Well. Normality is overrated. Just don't go jumping from trees, mmkay? xD There's about a 99.9999999% chance that you will not fly.
Aww. I don't mind heights, but they still make my legs feel funny...
One does give up after a while, but one never does find the ability to really care.
